Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field required
• Active PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) certification in California
• Bilingual proficiency essential for conducting assessments in more than one language
• Experience with bilingual student evaluations preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following professional and ethical guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and bilingual assessments for students referred for testing
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Travel between assigned schools within the district as an itinerant psychologist, adapting to the needs of each campus
• Provide recommendations and support systems based on assessment findings to facilitate student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
• Serve as a resource to school staff on issues related to bilingual student learning and emotional development
