PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform echocardiography and vascular procedures Check rooms and equipment, restock supplies, and review patient schedules Schedule patients Read physician orders Enter patient information into system Obtain quality images by positioning and repositioning transducer Print graphics and data; calculating measurements of heart wall, chamber size, blood flow direction, and velocity Maintain ultrasound equipment REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of an accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography. EXPERIENCE: One or more years of work experience in echocardiography and vascular technology.
