Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Telemetry Unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with a wide range of medical diagnoses, ensuring high-quality monitoring and management of their conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and provide care for patients with complex medical needs.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous and enteral nutrition therapies.
• Coordinate ongoing care and patient education related to drain, tube, and line management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage ventilator-dependent and tracheostomy patients.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
• A minimum of 2 years of telemetry monitoring experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.

Location
