Job Description Pet Paradise is looking for individuals with a passion for pets to join our team as a Resort Associate and provide care for our four-legged friends. Complimentary Pet Day Camp – Bring your dog with you to work! 30 Days of Complimentary Pet Boarding (non-holidays) On‑demand pay with DailyPay Discounted Veterinary Care and Grooming Services (per location) Dog/Cat Adoption Assistance Fitness Reimbursement Paid Time Off (both full‑time and part‑time status) 401(k) Savings Plan with Company Match Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (full‑time status) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with added mental health benefit, available to all employees Essential Functions Supervise and interact with pets both inside the resort and outside in the play yards Following directions on feeding times, amounts, and type of food Maintaining cleanliness of suites and dog runs by disinfecting, washing floors, scrubbing walls and removing animal wasteEmptying trash, mopping all floors, and cleaning restrooms, common areas, and the employee breakroom Monitoring and recording important information about our pets and reporting any unusual behaviors, injuries, or critical information to management and veterinarian services if applicable Using proper dog handling techniques as instructed by management Keeping dogs secure and maintaining a high standard of pet safety by following and adhering to the training policies Qualifications This position requires a considerable amount of physical labor, including pet handling, walking, cleaning, and maintenance of the suites True passion for working with animals Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team‑oriented attitude Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times Ability to receive instructions and remain adaptive to change and training material What It's Like to Work Here WE ARE PET PEOPLE!
