Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Weekly Pay $1802 - $2002 Shift Shift Rotating Shifts Per Week 3 Scheduled Hours 36 Start Date 08/10/2026 End Date 11/09/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description Respiratory Care Practitioner II Job Description The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (RCP II) is responsible for performing independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, along with clinical evaluation of care. This role includes establishing therapeutic objectives and reviewing care outcomes. The RCP II provides respiratory therapy modalities as per protocol or physician orders and is accountable for demonstrating proficiency in the operation of respiratory equipment to provide treatment for assigned age-specific patient populations, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Responsibilities Perform all respiratory care services for patients across all age groups. Manage ventilators and administer nebulized medication therapy, oxygen therapy, specialty gas, and chest physiotherapy. Conduct diagnostic procedures such as 12-lead ECGs, simple pulmonary function testing, and pulse oximetry. Assist physicians during cardiac stress testing and perform arterial and capillary punctures. Monitor and ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation during cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Collaborate closely with other healthcare team members and participate in continuing education and rapid response initiatives. Document treatments and patients' responses in respiratory care records and patient charts. Assess patients, identify needs, and adjust treatment plans according to patient response. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. State of CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license required. American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required. Schedule This is a full-time position with varied 12-hour shifts, and on-call availability is required. Why ARMStaffing?
