Position Summary

Designs and develops Appian-based applications for Avum's federal government programs. Translates functional requirements into technical solutions using the Appian low-code platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into Appian technical specifications and solutions
• Design and maintain relational database schemas and Appian Data Stores
• Develop and tune SAIL interfaces, Expression Rules, and process models
• Complete development tickets and participate in sprint commitments
• Collaborate with QA teams on testing and defect resolution
• Work with SMEs and clients to brainstorm and refine requirements
• Support code reviews and maintain documentation

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,000 – $130,000 annually, with a target midpoint of $108,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location. • Hybrid/remote work environment with potential on-site requirements based on contract needs

• Security clearance: Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of Appian development experience
• Appian Certified Associate Developer or higher
• Active Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Experience with SQL/Oracle databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Appian Certified Senior Developer
• Java development skills
• Experience with government procurement systems
• Agile/Scrum experience
