Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.Responsibilities Include:Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations.Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions.Maintain current and correct progress notes.Psychotropic medication management.Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed.Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.Provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP.Qualifications:Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program.Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP.Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible.Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services.Aminimum of 1+ years experience working independently as NP is required.
