Data Architect
Support the internal GTP Tax Platform initiative by building data models in Erwin, writing/debugging stored procedures and troubleshooting. Our technology stack is: Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), Azure, CA ERWin, SQL Server 2016, SQL Server 2017.
Responsibilities
- Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, performance
- Writing and troubleshooting Stored Procedures
- Design and implementing enterprise data models (conceptual, logical and physical)
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions on Azure
- Supporting development teams from a database perspective
- Providing guidance and mentoring to others
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure Sql, Azure Data Flow
- Strong working experience designing ETL solutions (Azure Data Factory & SSIS)
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server 2014, 2016 and Azure SQL Database
- Expert at writing Stored Procedure and troubleshooting
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and possesses excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience applying SAFe/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
- Experience designing data warehousing solutions
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Erwin Data Modeling experience a plus
- Accounting and/or Tax knowledge background a plus
