EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT / FULL-CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

CPA Firm – In Office Only (Full-Time or Flexible Hours)

Location: St. Augustine, FL

Work Arrangement: 100% In-Office (No Remote / No Relocation)

Compensation: $28 - $36/hr. + bonus and commissions .

Top compensation reserved for highly experience candidates meeting all requirements.

About the Position

We are a well-established CPA firm in St. Augustine seeking a highly experienced Accountant or Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team.

This position is best suited for someone who has worked directly under the supervision of a CPA or senior accountant and is comfortable handling a full set of books through financial statements, payroll, and tax filings.

This is not an entry-level or data-entry position.

Minimum Requirements (Must Meet All)

At least 5 years of hands-on experience working directly under a CPA or senior accountant in a public accounting firm or professional bookkeeping environment

Strong experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations

Experience entering, reviewing, and reconciling accounting transactions

Ability to prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet & income statement)

Experience processing in-house payroll for small to mid-sized businesses

Experience preparing payroll tax returns (Form 941, Florida RT-6, etc.)

Experience preparing sales tax returns

10-key by touch

Ability to pass a background check

Must currently live within 30 miles of St. Augustine, FL
