Lead Patient Service Representative

Description Responsible and accountable for coordinating the information and support needed for the flow of patients in the Swedish Medical Center and Emergency Department environment. Provides front‑line customer service, including reception and registration. Interviews patients and families to obtain required demographic and financial data, completes consents, escorts/directs patients, and collects valuables and deposits. Acts as the initial contact for any patients or visitors with general billing, insurance, or collection questions or concerns. Qualifications Associate’s Degree At least 2 years of experience in a medical setting with inpatient or outpatient admitting Experience in patient registration, financial counseling, or insurance and medical terminology Compensation Base pay range: $28.96 – $40.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
