We are seeking a skilled rigger with experience operating industrial forklifts to join our team. This role focuses on industrial maintenance projects and involves working both at heights and in confined spaces. The successful candidate will collaborate within a medium-sized team to ensure safe and effective rigging operations.
Responsibilities
- Secure loads for safe transport and handling
- Set up rigging equipment accurately for various tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Operate industrial forklifts for material movement
- Inspect rigging gear and equipment prior to use
- Balance loads to prevent hazards during lifts
- Handle materials efficiently and safely
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of rigging experience
- Vocational training in rigging or crane operation
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety standards
- Forklift operation certification
- Ability to assess loads and collaborate within a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
