STR MGMT/e-COMMERCE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary Manage the overall day‑to‑day operations of the store's e‑Commerce department to achieve desired sales objectives, goals and budgets. Responsible for staffing the department and developing associates to meet performance standards. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Based in Arizona, the role is part of Fry's Food Stores, a division of The Kroger Company. Responsibilities Bachelor's Degree Experience with and knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) Ensure that the store e‑Commerce department meets or exceeds customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness Interview, select and hire candidates to staff the online shopping department Meet the demands of product flow and create schedules according to guidelines Develop associates to meet productivity standards and certify associates when they meet or exceed goals Confirm that associates are following local, state, and federal laws in addition to all food safety procedures and company guidelines Train associates on all functions and duties of the order selector and customer attendant roles Lead the team in the planning, implementation and execution of e‑Commerce initiatives Achieve or exceed weekly, period and annual sales, wage budgets, and other targeted goals including customer satisfaction leading to repeat sales Assist in the analysis and response to the competitive landscape Ensure orders are filled with requested products or a comparable substitute in a timely and effective manner Execute best practices to determine appropriate substitutions in the event of an out‑of‑stock Follow processes for streamlining collection of orders, products, checkouts and delivery Report inventory issues such as out‑of‑stock items to department heads in a timely manner Troubleshoot equipment and devices for the e‑Commerce department Provide feedback to store management, district manager, field specialist, coordinators and division e‑Commerce manager on the effectiveness of operational plans and programs Report all issues with item shelf allocation to the division KOMPASS team Monitor and control expenses for the department Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment in the department Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports Work cooperatively in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs and/or older adults Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Proven supervisory experience Prior experience in the selection and hiring process Strong organizational skills Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times per day Ability to stand for extended periods of time and/or walk constantly Ability to stoop, kneel or crouch several times per hour Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong leadership skills Benefits A wide range of healthcare coverage, including affordable, comprehensive medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage, through company plans or collective bargaining agreement plans Flexible scheduling in full‑ and part‑time roles with paid time off, including holiday and sick pay based on eligibility and length of service Emotional and financial support with free counseling through the Employee Assistance Program and free, confidential financial tools and coaching with Goldman Sachs Ayco Valuable associate discounts on purchases, including food, travel, technology and more Up to $21,000 in tuition reimbursement over your career through the industry‑leading Continuing Education program Abundant opportunities for growth through industry‑leading training programs and diverse career pathways #J-18808-Ljbffr
