Manager, Service Ops

Join Otis Elevator as a Maintenance Operations Leader and help drive excellence in service quality and safety for our Plainview, NY, location. Location: 65 Fairchild Avenue, Plainview, NY 11803, USA Responsibilities Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territory. Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to meet customer needs and company standards. Ensure effective and efficient allocation of available resources such as manpower and materials. Conduct field education and training with the field workforce. Improve efficiencies by managing route schedules and callback rates. Provide technical support to field staff, either self‑provided or redirected to experts. Authorize repair orders and track completion status. Lead change toward better efficiency and communication. Qualifications 5+ years of industry experience (preferred). Proven experience working with a team of technicians. Leadership experience is essential. Experience in the elevator industry is required. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a highly team‑oriented and dynamic environment. Strong computer and technology skills, along with business acumen. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Travel within the territory is required; a valid driver’s license is necessary.
