Environmental Planning & CEQA Director

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planning & CEQA Director to lead and oversee the environmental planning and compliance efforts within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review process, ensuring all projects comply with state regulations and environmental standards. This role involves coordinating interdisciplinary teams, facilitating public outreach, and engaging with regulatory agencies to promote sustainable development practices. The director will also be tasked with identifying potential environmental impacts, preparing comprehensive reports, and recommending mitigation measures to ensure compliance with environmental policies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science, urban planning, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated leadership in environmental planning.
