Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

Role Description This is a full-time role for a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic at Adams Mobile Air. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to HD truck and equipment mobile climate control maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. The role will primarily be located in Terrell, TX, with a service truck to travel to various job sites. A company cell phone will be provided. Qualifications Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair Experience working with heavy equipment and fleet vehicles Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues Experience in vehicle maintenance Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and remotely Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus Certifications or training in heavy equipment repair is beneficial Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license Industry-related repair tools will be provided; mechanic must provide his/her own hand tools Uniforms provided $1K weekly salary at 40 hours/week in the off-season. (Or take a few months off to spend time with family, travel, school, or side work, and come back in the Spring with a job waiting for you!) Bonus based on hours billed per year.
