Details Work in a Labor & Delivery/OB unit managing high-risk pregnancies Manages conditions such as preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, VBAC, prenatal testing, and amniocentesis Provides childbirth education classes Care spans patient check-in through pre/post care and discharge Rotating day and night shifts, two days and one night per week, 36 hours weekly 12-hour shifts Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery/OB experience required Fetal monitoring experience required Labor & Delivery skills checklist completed within the past year required One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required Additional Information Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered RTO requests should be limited to 5 days American Traveler Job ID P-748918.
