About the Role:
The Wonder Years Learning Center in Wilmington, MA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant/Toddler Teacher to join their dedicated team! Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, diapering, napping, and developmental milestones
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
• Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with state childcare licensing regulations
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive, team-oriented learning environment
• Follow established routines and schedules to provide consistency and security for young children

Requirements:

• Experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• EEC (Early Education and Care) certification or willingness to obtain
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain upon hire
• Warm, patient, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with families
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, and sitting on the floor
