Job Title

Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor and delivery
• Care for newborns immediately following vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Assist with and monitor procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditach electronic documentation systems
• Participate in weekend shifts and on-call shifts per unit scheduling requirements; travelers float first per unit floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN Intermediate (not Advanced) or CEFM certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with CPN and Meditach documentation platforms
• Experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Demonstrated experience with shared decision-making practices in patient care
