Primer Coffee and Spirits is looking for a skilled and passionate barista to join our team at Canvas @ Valor Acres. The barista will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming and comfortable coffee shop environment. This is a part time hourly position, that does not include benefits. A typical day looks like: Preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to customers Greeting customers and taking orders with a friendly and approachable demeanor Operating espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision and care Maintaining a clean and organized coffee bar area, including restocking supplies Educating customers about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and specialty drinks Handling all transactions and processing payments accurately Assisting in maintaining a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers Upholding hygiene and sanitation standards for all equipment and work areas Learning and adapting to new coffee blends and menu offerings Responding to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns Do you have what it takes? High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and espresso preparation Excellent communication and customer service skills Enthusiasm for coffee culture and a willingness to learn Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality beverages Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends Must be able to push, pull, and/or safely lift up to 50lbs Minimum of 19 years old Why Primer?
