Ideal Candidate Training and experience working in early childhood education Knowledge of local flora and fauna Knowledge of the Waldorf educational philosophy Ability to play an instrument Ability to speak a foreign language Qualifications Some experience working with children between the ages of 2-7 years old Comfortable being outdoors in all weather Comfortable interacting with nature, including holding insects, sitting on the ground, getting wet and muddy Willingness to participate in trainings relevant to forest schools Willingness to increase knowledge of naturalist and native skills Physical ability to hike up to two miles daily, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.
