Job Description As a Security Officer Access Management in Lakeland, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:30 PM - 06:30 AM Sat06:30 PM - 06:30 AM Sun06:30 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and vendors, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior areas, gates, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with attention to security-related concerns. Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at controlled access points, including screening incoming shipments and directing guests and/or contractors according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
