Fabrication Facility HousekeeperWe are looking for a reliable and hardworking Fabrication Facility Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within our manufacturing facility. The facility housekeeper will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations by ensuring that all work areas are clean, free of debris, and meet company standards for safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and has a strong commitment to maintaining a productive workspace.Key Responsibilities:Perform regular cleaning of production areas, including floors, walkways, workstations, restrooms (as needed), and break rooms, as needed.Collect and dispose of waste materials, scrap, and recyclables from work areas, emptying trash and recycling bins as needed.Clean and maintain common-use equipment, including shared tools and surfaces, to ensure operational efficiency and safety.Monitor and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed, and report any shortages to your supervisor.Adhere to all safety and health protocols, ensuring cleaning tasks are performed in a way that minimizes hazards for yourself and others.Identify and report maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel, ensuring that any facility concerns are addressed promptly.Manage dust and debris in production areas to maintain air quality and cleanliness standards.Assist with special facility projects, such as deep cleaning, machine maintenance, or rearrangements as requested by management.Qualifications:Familiarity with housekeeping tools and cleaning agents.Understanding of basic safety protocols, particularly within a manufacturing environment.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Good physical condition; must be able to lift to 50 pounds, stand, and move around for extended periods.Working Conditions:This position may require standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and exposure to manufacturing noise levels.Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other environmental factors is typical of a fabrication facility.
