ABOUT XPENG

XPENG is entering an exciting stage of growth in Australia, and we are seeking an experienced State Manager – Western Australia to lead our WA market operations.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, supporting dealer partners, building brand presence, and ensuring XPENG delivers a premium customer experience across Western Australia.

ROLE SUMMARY

As State Manager – WA, you will be responsible for managing and growing XPENG’s presence across the state. You will work closely with dealer partners, internal sales, marketing, aftersales, finance, and operations teams to ensure strong market execution and commercial results.

This role will suit a driven automotive professional who understands dealer networks, sales performance, customer experience, and the fast-changing electric vehicle market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead XPENG’s sales and market growth across Western Australia
  • Manage dealer relationships and support dealer performance
  • Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Monitor stock, pipeline, customer orders, registrations, and delivery performance
  • Support local marketing activity, events, product launches, and brand awareness
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to dealer sales teams
  • Review market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Ensure brand standards and customer experience expectations are met
  • Work closely with national teams across sales, operations, finance, marketing, and aftersales
  • Provide regular reporting on WA market performance, opportunities, and risks

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an automotive State Manager, Regional Manager, Area Manager, Dealer Development, or senior sales leadership role
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations and retail automotive sales
  • Experience working with dealer networks and commercial sales targets
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze performance data
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Passion for electric vehicles, technology, and the future of mobility
  • Ability to travel across Western Australia as required
