About the Position

Our client is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for an 80-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Aug 17, 2026. This role involves standard 5-day, 8-hour shifts, focusing on general anesthesia services with a preference for experience in hearts/vascular, neuro, and pediatric cases, though hearts and lungs procedures are not required at this facility.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia services for a diverse patient population across all ages.
  • Manage a high volume of cases in a department covering general, ortho, gyn, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, heart, neuro, and trauma procedures.
  • Work within 5 NORA locations including IR, EP, ENDO, and MRI.
  • Collaborate with medical direction in a team setting.
  • Utilize preferred skills in hearts/vascular, neuro, and pediatrics, while not being required to perform hearts and lungs cases at this site.

Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
  • Standard 5-day, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Utilize Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitoring equipment.
