Engineering LAB Technician

Job TitleResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Execute test methods and simulated procedures on the robotic-assisted surgery system.Make and record observations; perform simple calculations; and collect and prepare data for evaluation.Conduct laboratory support functions such as inventory and maintenance on supplies and equipment.Perform technical and record-keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.Analyze compounds and manage corporate compound collection.Perform technical procedures in one or more of the following areas: Production, Research and Development, Quality Control/Assurance, and/or Compliance/Environmental.Technician Support Career StreamProvides technical support in areas such as:Production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development.Document system performance and usage, and communicate hardware or software issues.Perform manual setup and tear down activities, including cleaning of all equipment surfaces, and orienting medical equipment for daily storage and transport within the lab space.Perform periodic workflows test methods including manually transporting equipment throughout the facility, taking measurements to evaluate system functional performance over time, and emergency simulation or response activities.Differentiating FactorsAutonomy: Established and productive individual contributor, working under moderate supervision.
