About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based MRI experience License: ARRT MR required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: MRI credentials and prior hospital-based MRI experience Strong customer service mindset with a teamwork-driven approach Siemens MRI experience, including XA30 software experience Description: This position functions as a Scanning MRI Technologist. The role involves working alongside a collaborative MRI team. The MRI team supports both outpatient and inpatient imaging services. The ideal candidate must thrive in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrating a positive attitude and strong communication skills is essential. A patient-centered approach to care is critical. The selected candidate will collaborate with MRI Staff Technologists and Charge Technologists. Interaction with the MRI Safety Officer and Registered Nurses may occur, depending on the shift. High-quality MRI examinations will be performed on inpatient and outpatient populations. Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service is a priority. Effective collaboration with nursing staff and MRI safety personnel is required. Adherence to department protocols and compliance with safety standards is essential. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic clinical setting. The daily census is approximately 60 visits, with 4 rooms available. The facility has 438 total staffed beds. A strong emphasis on teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude is necessary for success in this role. Candidates should be proficient in various MRI procedures and techniques. Experience preparing outpatients for MRI procedures is preferred. IV insertion and competency with IV skills is a plus. This position does not require on-call or overnight shifts. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts. Special procedures and unit details will be outlined during the onboarding process. Compliance with hospital standards and safety protocols is mandatory throughout employment.
