Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide both direct and indirect patient care in a clinic setting. This role entails utilizing comprehensive nursing processes, including patient assessment, the development and implementation of nursing care plans, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients within the assigned area.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of care that takes into account psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, their families or support groups, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of patient care effectiveness and adapt as necessary.

Shift Details

This position offers a 4x10 hour schedule with shifts from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM and 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in California.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in scrub and circulation roles.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience with cardiac services, hepatobiliary procedures, robotic surgery, spine care, and ophthalmology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge experience in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with hospital charting systems.
• Experience working in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility is preferred.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
• Cholecystectomy
• Robotic surgeries
• Various orthopedic surgeries
• Neurosurgical procedures

Patient Care Details

This role involves caring for patients across multiple age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily operation includes managing patient diagnoses related to cardiac, hepatobiliary, pediatric, and surgical services.
