Customer Solutions Center Representative

Customer Solutions Center Representatives are responsible for engaging with customers through inbound phone calls. Customer Solutions Center Representatives are to represent Peoples Bank well by presenting a positive, professional image while meeting or exceeding customers' expectations. This position will begin in Munster, IN and will transition to Orland Park, IL in mid-2027.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries relating to bank products and services through inbound telephone calls
• Recognize growth or service opportunities for customers and refer them to the appropriate department
• Remain current on products, services, policies and procedures
• Resolve customer inquiries or issues with respect to any loan product offered by Peoples Bank
• Resolve customer issues through account research and utilization of support materials and resources
• Perform customer account transaction and maintenance activities accurately
• Strive for first contact resolution of customer inquiries, transactions and problem resolution
• Escalate customer requests requiring additional knowledge or expertise as defined by department leadership
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Proficient in technical computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service.
• Associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years customer service experience preferred
• 2+ years Call Center experience preferred

Skills and Qualifications

• Resolve issues with straight forward to moderate degrees of complexity through account research. and utilization of support materials and resources.
• Must be self-motivated and follow established guidelines.
• Works under moderate supervision in day-to-day activities and escalates issues as needed.
• Clear and effective communication in person and over the phone.
