The Shop Apprentice plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our upholstery shop, working within a small team under direct supervision. This entry-level position involves handling basic hand tools while assisting with customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining the store environment. The role offers valuable training opportunities in specialty areas such as sewing and custom upholstery, providing a strong foundation for career growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in a retail upholstery environment
- Manage inventory and assist with stock replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Receive and process deliveries accurately
- Develop product knowledge specific to upholstery merchandise
- Use basic hand tools safely and effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level retail experience

- Basic understanding of inventory control
