This role focuses on providing specialized care in a medical-surgical environment, suitable for nurses with a strong background in Med/Tele. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Provide safe and therapeutic nursing care
• Initiate intravenous lines and perform medication administration
• Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to physicians
• Perform dressing changes and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
• Participate in bedside reporting and hourly rounding

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Active TX RN License or Compact RN License
• 2+ years of hospital experience and Med/Tele specialty experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Meditech preferred
