Senior Family Law Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Family Law Associate to join its San Francisco, CA office. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in family law, particularly with high-net-worth clients, and will be adept at managing complex cases independently. This role requires a strong command of legal drafting, negotiation, and strategic advisory skills. Duties Draft sophisticated legal documents, including marital settlement agreements and motions. Provide expert legal guidance and formulate comprehensive case strategies. Analyze complex financial documents, including tax returns and financial statements. Negotiate and execute complex settlements with clients and opposing counsel. Manage an independent caseload and meet critical deadlines autonomously. Conduct legal research and maintain an understanding of evolving family law. Represent the firm with professionalism and independence. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing. Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing family law. Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines efficiently. Strong knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and legal principles. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client confidentiality. Experience working with high-net-worth clients and complex financial arrangements. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to the California State Bar and in good standing. Skills Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
