Pool Service Supervisor

JOB SUMMARYThe Pool Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all Members’ food and beverage needs are satisfied while dining or drinking outside. The Pool Server Supervisor will have previous food and beverage service experience, a strong work ethic, a positive disposition and previous lead or management experience. Wage range for this position is between $18.00 - $25.00 per hour.QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTSStrong work ethic and desire to learn.A passion for providing outstanding experiences and memories for all Members and guests.Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.Must present a neat and clean personal appearance.Must have timely, reliable attendance.Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward Members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.Education Required: Food Handlers Certification; TABC if 18 years old (within 30-days of hire; will provide)Knowledge/Skills/Language Required:English language skills. Must be able to clearly communicate verbally with Members, guests, supervisors and co-workers.Active Listening - Giving full attention to what Members/guests are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate.Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help Members/guests.Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of Members/guests’ reactions.Abilities/Work Activities Required:Perform General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.Able to comfortably lift 35 - 40 lbsHandling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things.Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel and stoop for up to 8 hoursRESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKSSupervision of pool service staff to include task accomplishment and remedial trainingEnsure Member and guest satisfaction with services providedVerify that all charge tickets are handled correctlyAdvise MOD of any complaints as soon as they occurCommunicate with the staff any information relating to service or special eventsVerifies completion of opening and closing duties and will assign staff accordinglyCompletes all service duties in accordance with the guidelines for high standards of service set forth by RCCCGreets Members and their guests by last name whenever possibleEnsures that Members and their guests receive immediate attention and service upon arrivalObserves all club policies in dealing with Members and non-Members in club usageInforms MOD of any complaints or problems that occur throughout the shiftEnsures that all established service procedures and standards are adhered to and performed with the emphasis on giving superior service to the MembersPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTRequired to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reachUse of hands and arms to handle, position, move materials, and manipulate thingsAbility to push, pull or lift up to 40 lbsMust be able to perform duties in excessive heat and inclement weatherBe able to work in direct sunlight and be responsible to protect themselves with coverage and/or sunscreen #J-18808-Ljbffr River Crest Country Club
