Senior Staff Segment Strategy Manager - Industrial Applications

Job DescriptionThe Segment Strategy Manager is responsible for defining and driving the system solution portfolio strategy for Industrial and Building and Home Applications. Working closely with global Application and Technology Architects and regional Solution Marketing teams, this role identifies market opportunities, translates customer needs into solution concepts, develops investment business cases, monitors solution development, drives solution commercialization, and owns the execution of approved solution opportunities from concept through successful market adoption.The role serves as the market-facing counterpart to the architecture teams, ensuring that solution investments are aligned with customer requirements, technology roadmaps, and business objectives. It acts as the focal point between regional Solution Marketing teams, Product Groups, Architecture teams, Engineering, and Digital Marketing throughout the complete solution lifecycle. The role is accountable for driving cross-functional execution, stakeholder alignment, and achievement of approved business objectives throughout the solution lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesSegment Strategy & Market IntelligenceAnalyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies within the assigned segment.Identify growth opportunities, priority applications, and key use cases.Develop market assessments, business forecasts, and segment solution roadmaps.Define solution portfolio priorities and investment recommendations aligned with segment growth objectives.Solution Opportunity ManagementGather, evaluate, and prioritize solution opportunities from regional teams, product groups, customers, and ecosystem partners.Collaborate with Application and Technology Architects to define solution concepts and assess technical feasibility.Own assigned solution opportunities from initial evaluation through commercialization.
