Position: CPT I

Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (22:00 - 08:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine laboratory tasks including specimen processing.
Utilize aseptic techniques for specimen collection and storage.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient lab operations.
Manage blood and microbiological specimens, ensuring proper handling and labeling.
Deliver specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

Years of Experience Required: 2 years
Certifications Required: BLS, CPT I, and California CPT I
Previous charge experience is not mandatory.
Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.
Travel experience is required.

Unit Details

This position is within an acute care hospital that has a total of 150 staffed beds. The hospital serves patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with a daily patient load ranging from 60 to 100.

Additional Information

Parking: Free parking available on the first day; designated parking assigned during orientation.
Scrub Colors: RN: any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy; OR/Cath Lab: provided.
Charting System: Epic.

References are required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years.

Note: Candidates may be required to float between nearby facilities as determined by operational needs. Refusing to float may result in assignment termination.
