Swing Warehouse WorkerThe swing warehouse worker supports daily operations in a cold-room environment by stripping product into totes, handling packaging and labeling tasks, and assisting with general labor and production activities. This role involves working rotating 12-hour shifts in a temperature-controlled area where food processing and GMP regulations are strictly followed.ResponsibilitiesStrip product into totes in the cold room and ensure items are handled safely and efficiently.Perform general labor and production tasks, including inventory handling, packaging, and labeling of products.Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and site-specific procedures at all times.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the cold packaging environment.Accurately handle and move materials, including lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs as needed.Work assigned 12-hour rotating shifts, including some weekends, and reliably complete scheduled hours.Adhere to all safety and hygiene requirements, including dress code and personal grooming standards on the production floor.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.Report any issues with product, equipment, or safety concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.Essential Skills0–6 months of experience in a food processing, warehouse, or production setting.Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs safely and repeatedly during the shift.Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule that includes some weekends.Comfort working in a cold environment, with temperatures around 40 degrees in the packaging area.Willingness and ability to follow GMP regulations and all safety and hygiene protocols.Ability to perform general labor, inventory handling, packaging, and labeling tasks.Reliability in adhering to shift schedules and production timelines.Capability to work in a fast-paced production environment and stand for extended periods.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience as a general laborer, production laborer, or warehouse worker is an asset.Familiarity with inventory processes and basic material handling.Attention to detail when packaging and labeling products.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new tasks on the production floor.Why Work Here?You join a team-oriented environment that values reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. The assignment runs through August with Monday–Friday coverage across three primary shifts: Days (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.), Swing (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.), and Nights (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), with 12-hour rotating shifts that may include some weekend work. GMP regulations are strictly followed, and the production floor requires specific hygiene and safety standards, including no facial hair and no jewelry while on the floor.
