Mechanical Claims Analyst

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Mechanical Claims Analyst to evaluate and process automotive repair claims. This role is a strong fit for an Automotive Technician, Service Advisor, or Parts Specialist who is ready to use their technical knowledge in a claims and customer service environment. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for dealers, customers, and agents, reviewing repair information, evaluating contract coverage, resolving claim questions, and helping move claims through the process accurately and efficiently. Strong automotive knowledge, sound judgment, clear communication, and attention to detail are essential. This is a remote position designed to support later-day claims coverage. We welcome candidates in any U.S. time zone who are willing to work a later shift, with a preference for candidates located in the Pacific time zone. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Process automobile, RV, and powersports repair claims in accordance with established policies and procedures Review repair documentation to confirm the customer’s concern, cause, and correction submitted by the repair facility Respond to inbound calls from customers, service advisors, dealers, and agents, resolving questions in a timely and professional manner Guide customers and repair facilities through the claims process and clearly communicate the information needed to process claims efficiently Accurately document customer and repair facility interactions, inspection results, verifications, research, and other claims-related information Evaluate contract coverage, review labor and parts estimates, order inspections when needed, and determine claim eligibility Escalate complex issues to leadership as appropriate Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures Maintain a strong working knowledge of Omega products, systems, applications, and labor/time guide tools Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Proficient use of Microsoft Office and web-based applications Familiarity with All Data, Mitchell ProDemand, factory labor time guides, and other labor/time estimation tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical information and make sound decisions Excellent attention to detail, time management, reliability, and punctuality Clear, professional written communication skills for claims documentation, email, and messaging Strong verbal communication skills with a professional phone presence Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment Availability to work a variety of shifts Monday through Saturday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM Central Time Preferred Skills Understanding of vehicle service contracts ASE Certification Bilingual Spanish proficiency strongly preferred $22-$26 per hour, based on experience What We Offer Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan After 1st year PTO & Paid Holidays Career growth opportunities in a fast-paced and expanding industry Ongoing training and development to enhance skillsA collaborative and supportive team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Omega Home & Auto Care
