Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor direction and/or staff support, and follow post orders related to restricted areas and after-hours activity. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age.
