Receptionist

About the Role:

Kiddie Academy of Columbia, SC is looking for a warm, organized, and enthusiastic Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our academy! In this role, you'll play a vital part in creating a positive first impression for families and supporting our dedicated team of early childhood educators. Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome families, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries promptly

Manage front desk operations including sign-in/sign-out procedures for families

Assist with scheduling tours and following up with prospective families

Coordinate with teachers and leadership to relay messages and updates

Uphold Kiddie Academy’s standards for confidentiality, safety, and customer service

Ensure the front office and reception area remain organized and presentable

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor, especially around children and families

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, child-centered environment
