ResourceMFG is now hiring QUALITY INSPECTORS in Sterling Hts, MI! CONTRACT-TO-HIRE SHIFT: 5:00a/6:00a-Finish (up to 10 hrs) Possibly moving to 2nd shift in November 2:00pm-Finish PAY: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience) DESCRIPTION: This job is for a site that manufactures metal components and manufacturing solutions (automotive, heavy trucking, aerospace, medical, military, and other industries). DUTIES: Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database. Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs. Basic math, computer, and problem-solving skills Skills to calibrate and measure specifications, understanding of metrology joining features. Ability to navigate cad models Blueprint reading REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to handle required lifting weight of up to 50 pounds. Must be able to make frequent bending and twisting movements and be able to stand for the entirety of your shift. Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments Five years' quality inspector experience Quality Inspector #J-18808-Ljbffr
