Schedule: Evening Shift with rotating weekends

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Normal

Requirements: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or a related area of specialty - Certification/registration or certification/registry eligible as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician - Knowledge of principles, methods, materials, equipment, and techniques of medical technology - Skills in both verbal and written communication

Roles & Responsibilities: - Perform laboratory tests in various areas (hematology, immunohematology, immunology, bacteriology, microscopy, routine chemistry, therapeutic drug monitoring) following established protocols. - Conduct phlebotomies, including arterial puncture and venipunctures, applying age-specific criteria. - Process specimens and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and quality control. - Validate and report test results accurately and timely. - Assist in the development of laboratory policy and procedural manuals. - Participate in training and orientation of students and new employees.

Compliance / Notes: - Adhere to all safety practices, including infection control and exposure control plans. - Attend all required inservice education sessions. - Comply with the Code of Conduct and relevant policies and procedures.
