Cnc Machine OperatorsExpress Employment Professionals of Ames, IA has partnered with a local Story City, IA company seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators to join their team! The main responsibilities in this role will be to perform routine change-overs and operates assigned CNC production equipment. This position starts at $20/hr, dependent on experience!The ideal candidate should demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and orderliness in performing work assignments, while striving for perfection and showing professional concern for quality of work.Environment:Multiple shifts available! Schedule will be assigned based on experience!This is a full-time, long-term positionLocally owned manufacturer of customer components and systems, must be comfortable working in a large warehouseSteel-toed boots are requiredDuties:Performs routine machine change-overs by accessing correct program from computersUses written, known, and established control plansIdentifies and makes routine adjustmentsMeasures product accurately using dedicated gaging according to control plan specificationsSkills/Experience Needed:MUST have prior CNC machining experience!Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to make basic mathematical calculations and use decimal numbersAbility to physically move, lift, carry, and manipulate light to medium loads
