Real Estate Tax AssociateHeartline Staffing is recruiting a Real Estate Tax Associate for a full-time, in-office attorney opportunity in Homewood, Illinois. This position focuses on commercial, industrial and investment property tax appeals and provides exposure to property tax law, economic development incentives and real estate taxation. This opportunity is well suited for an Illinois-licensed attorney with strong legal writing, analytical and client-service skills. Prior property tax appeal experience is highly desirable; however, the position is also open to an attorney who demonstrates the ability to quickly master new concepts and achieve results.The Real Estate Tax Associate will prepare and manage property tax appeals involving income-producing and owner-occupied properties, analyze assessment and valuation information, assist with tax objection matters and communicate directly with clients and county representatives. The attorney will also gain exposure to economic development aspects of property tax appeals, including incentive programs such as Class 6b, Class 7, Class 8 and Tax Increment Financing (TIF), following appropriate training and experience.Compensation: $121,000-$130,000. Full-time, exempt position. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
