Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an NP or PA-C in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care settings
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Missouri (NP or PA-C license required)
• Comfort providing care across the lifespan—pediatrics to geriatrics
• Proficient with common urgent care procedures and onsite X-ray services (ability to order and interpret imaging)
• Strong communication, patient-centered care, and teamwork skills
• Current BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and urgent care evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages
• Perform focused physical exams and manage acute illnesses, minor injuries, suture/foreign body removal, and wound care
• Order, obtain, and interpret diagnostic tests, including onsite X-rays and labs, collaborating with onsite radiology staff as needed
• Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans within scope of practice
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Coordinate care with clinic staff and referring providers to ensure high-quality outcomes
