As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. REQUIREMENTS Current State license as a Registered Nurse Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units. The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
