The IT Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for developing system documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, process flows, use cases, system Integration flows, data flows, project plans, user manuals, and training procedures. The IT Business Systems Analyst II understands business requirements and often serves as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.Requirements include (but are not limited to):Business Analysis Planning & MonitoringElicitation & CollaborationRequirements Life Cycle ManagementStrategy AnalysisRequirements AnalysisData AnalysisSolution EvaluationCommitment to Quality: The IEHP Team is committed to incorporate IEHP's Quality Program goals including, but not limited to, HEDIS, CAHPS, and NCQA Accreditation.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with business partners within one or more business organizations to align solutions with business needs.Support one or more moderate to complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.Progress liaison relationship with business and IT.Conduct data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements.Provide factual content to feasibility study for standard programs, projects, and enhancements.Aid in the development of UAT.Provide support in creating reports, research, and documentation for the analysis of business satisfaction.Assist with leading the investigation and statement of problems. Escalates issues as appropriate.Serve as a lead one or more moderately complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.Establish and maintain liaison relationships with business and IT to provide effective solutions.Lead the assessment of business needs a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes).Lead development and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the design and implementation of business solutions.Provide suggestions from a business and IT perspective.Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.Conduct feasibility studies and draft proposals for evaluation by appropriate users and managers.Ensure UAT strategies involve appropriate integration and process components.Investigate problems and resolves working in conjunction with technical teams.May manage stakeholder expectations and analyze performance metrics to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.May generate appropriate communication, process, and plans for mitigating the disruption of change.Participate in IT solution deployment activities. Ensures IT solutions meet business needs.Coach and transfer knowledge to less experienced Team Members.QualificationsEducation & RequirementsRequires five plus (5+) years of relevant technical systems analyst or business work experienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare, or related program from an accredited institution requiredIIBA, CBAP PreferredKey QualificationsMust have a valid California Driver's LicenseUnderstanding of SDLC and various methodologiesKnowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.Knowledge of project management principles and practicesUnderstanding of how to interpret needs of stakeholders correctlyRequires technical, analytical, and process skillsRequires interpersonal skillsProficiency with Microsoft PC desktop applications including Excel, Word, MS Project, and VisioClearly articulate both problems and proposed solutionsPrioritize personal and team workloads to best meet organizational objectivesWork effectively on a high-performing teamAdapt in a dynamic environment through maintaining resiliencyPresent issues and challenges to leads and managersWork with a team of professionals from various disciplinesMakes necessary adjustments to work shift ensure completion of projects and to meet deadlines, e.g., system releases, critical milestonesWork Model LocationThis position is on a hybrid work schedule.
