Austin, TX | Full-Time | $25/hr | 1-Year Contract

We’re partnering with a leading autonomous vehicle company that is looking for experienced, safety-minded drivers to join their team as Autonomous Vehicle Safety Drivers . Instead of picking up passengers, you’ll help monitor and support next-generation self-driving vehicles while they operate on real roads.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Autonomous Vehicle Safety Driver , you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful testing of self-driving vehicles while helping engineers improve the technology that will shape the future of mobility.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating autonomous vehicles on public roads while monitoring system performance
• Remaining alert and ready to take control if needed to ensure safe driving conditions
• Observing vehicle behavior and collecting real-world data to support engineering improvements
• Conducting daily pre-drive safety checks and preparing vehicles for testing
• Communicating professionally with riders, engineers, and operations teams
• Documenting driving sessions and submitting detailed reports on vehicle performance
• Staying aware of surrounding drivers, pedestrians, and unexpected road conditions

Shift Options

• Available Schedules:
  Tuesday - Saturday (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
  Friday - Monday (10 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
  Available Shifts:
  AM Shift Options:
  4:30 am - 3:00 pm (Friday - Monday ONLY)
  5:00 am - 1:30 pm
  5:30 am - 2:00 pm
  6:00 am - 2:30 pm
  6:30 am - 3:00 pm
  PM Shift Options:
  2:30 pm - 1:00 am (Friday - Monday ONLY)
  3:30 pm - 12:00 am
  4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Compensation & Assignment Details

• Pay: $25 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time (30+ hours per week)
• Assignment Length: 1-Year Contract
