The posted compensation range of $92.51 - $117.83 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Details

Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Organizes and oversees patient care delivery during an assigned shift. Monitors and assesses current environment for smooth hospital operations.
• Assesses and allocates resources as needed. Provides input to employee performance. Assists in the coaching of staff members.
• Documents daily staffing and administrative records and maintains compliance with governmental policies and procedures. Presents documentation to senior staff.
• Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis. Maintains communication to patient and family members regarding care needed.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (e.g., ADN).
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience.

Licensure:

• Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS), other credentials or credential modules may be required.

Founded in 1950, Dignity Health - Sequoia Hospital is a 208-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Redwood City, California. Serving over 50,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including heart care, stroke care, and a birthing center. Additionally, Sequoia Hospital has been recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center, and recently was awarded the AMA/ASA's Get the Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement, recognizing the hospital's commitment to providing the best stroke care. It was recently named a Leapfrog 2025 Top General Hospital.
