About the Role - Must be willing to work as a 1099 agent, with a split up-to 70/30. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing freight movements, collaborating with trucking companies, supporting carrier teams, tracking shipments, providing customer updates, and resolving any issues that arise. Responsibilities Develop and grow new and existing business opportunities using the full range of services offered. Negotiate pricing effectively to build sustainable and profitable relationships with customers and carriers. Ensure the most efficient and safe transportation solutions for customers. Increase revenue and enhance profitability by identifying and executing opportunities for improvement. Proactively identify potential service disruptions and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with Customer Service regarding Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and availability. Qualifications Previous experience in transportation or logistics is preferred. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic computer proficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the industry. Compensation - This position offers an aggressive commission only structure up to 70/30 split which is uncapped and designed to reward autonomous, competent brokers.
