Overview Employment Type: Full Time Shifts Available: Variable Shifts Hours: 12-hour shifts -7:00am to 7:00pm or 7pm-7am Location: Southern RegionalMedical Center - Riverdale, GA We are seeking an Intensive CareNurse , also referred to as an ICU RN or Intensive Care Unit RN. The Intensive Care RN (ICU RN) willberesponsible forproviding intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. TheICU RN will haveadvanced skills in critical care settings,makequick decisions, andwill becompassionateto allpatients. An ICU RNmonitorsvital signs, blood oxygen levels, administer IV Fluids, and communicates effectively to the medical team tomodifycare plans accordingly. Responsibilities If you have experience in the ICU, Emergency Room (ER), Emergency Department (ED)or other critical care area of thehospitalyou are encouraged to apply! Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients by performing detailed assessments, developing care plans, and implementing complex nursing interventions Use advanced equipment like cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and capnography devices to continuously track vital signs and physiological parameters Safely administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products with precise dosing and timing, closelymonitoringpatient responses to ensure effectiveness and prevent adverse reactions Managelife-support devices such as ventilators, dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors Provide emotional support and education to patients' families, acting as a liaison to ensure they understand the care being provided Document all aspects of patient care to ensure continuity and compliance while rigorouslymaintaininginfection control and safety protocols to protect vulnerable patients Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred. 4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 6. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred. 8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
