Freight Handler - Full Time Friday-Sunday (Up to $35.25/hour!) Fort Recovery, OH Job Description Cheeseman Transport is hiring a weekend Freight Handler in Ft. Recovery OH. Freight Handlers will be loading forklifts, tow motors and their parts in 53ft dry van trailers. We are currently hiring for full time Friday - Sunday 1st shift Dock / Freight Handling at our Ft. Recovery, Ohio terminal. Friday - Sunday 5:30AM - 6:00PM Pay: Starting Pay: (Friday) $19.50/hour; (Saturday and Sunday) $29.25/hour (With scheduled pay increases, earn up to $23.50/hour on Fridays and up to $35.25/hour on Saturdays and Sundays after 3 years) Operate forklift to loading and unloading freight from dry van trailers Secure and unblock freight in back of trailers using nail guns, wooden blocks, and pry bars Use scanners to update tracking in system Additional Information Forklift experience is a plus Benefits for Employee & Family Health Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance - Company Paid! Paid Vacation- Paid Holidays Job Requirements Candidates should be 18 years old and should have the ability to read bills of lading, physically transfer and secure cargo, be willing to work all shifts (if needed), and in a fast paced work environment.
